Co-Occurring Challenges (eLearning)
June 1, 2020 - June 3, 2020
Due to the current COVID-19 crisis Via Hope is offering the Co-Occurring Challenges training online. This training is designed for both Mental Health Peer Specialists and Recovery Support Peer Specialists to give an overview of how to provide peer support to people experiencing substance use and mental health challenges. General philosophies, issues, and practices underlying each other’s work will be explored.
While the content of the training will not change the delivery method will vary. This means that the content will be provided via Zoom technology, through online discussion threads, and short interactive breakout sessions online. These changes will require three days rather than two. This continuing education unit training provides 14 credits and there is no registration fee.
