PeerFest is an educational and celebratory event for Texans who have faced mental health challenges and are on a journey to recovery.
Modeled, in part, after the National Alternatives Conference, PeerFest was created with the vision of a place where people with lived mental health experience are empowered to improve their well-being. An event by and for consumers (people with lived mental health experience), the event provides an opportunity to learn about well-being tools, explore taboo or inaccessible topics, and connect with peers.
PeerFest is funded by the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, and is coordinated in partnership with Via Hope.
