Via Hope is offering the Peer Practice: Crisis Support training online via Zoom technology, polls, chats, whiteboards and short interactive breakout sessions online. Please note internet access is required in order to complete this training (camera access is required).Individual computer access is required for this training. Participants cannot login in a group environment..

Peer Practice: Crisis Support was created to equip Peer Specialists with tools and techniques to support individuals in crisis. In addition to tools and techniques, this one day training will cover SAMHSA best practices, provide a basic understanding of trauma and how it may manifest during a crisis, look at suicide assessment and explore grounding and centering practices for Peer Specialists to care for themselves while supporting others during difficult times. 6 CEUs are available for Certified Peer Specialists.
