Via Hope is offering a Financial Literacy Workshop for Peer Support Specialists! This workshop is designed to provide peer support specialists with the knowledge and skills necessary to support themselves and their peers in achieving financial stability.
Financial struggles can be a significant barrier to recovery, and this workshop aims to provide participants with the tools and knowledge to help their peers manage their finances effectively. The workshop covers basic financial concepts, such as budgeting, saving, and managing debt, as well as the unique financial challenges faced by people in recovery.
Topics include:
- First Time Home Buyers
- Basic Banking
- Investments
- Savings
- 401K (retirement)
