Person Centered Recovery Planning (PCRP): Refresher on Goals and Objectives

November 17, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$35.00

Description:

In this 2-hour virtual session, participants will review the critical role of goals and objectives in Person Centered Recovery Planning (PCRP), consider key differences between the two, and practice creating stronger goals and objectives that honor the person and satisfy chart requirements. This session is geared toward any behavioral health professional seeking to bolster their basic knowledge of person-centered planning and is a recommended follow up to the 2-day workshop, Person Centered: Reimagining Partnership and Planning.

Purpose and Audience:

This workshop is designed for people that work in a variety of roles at behavioral health organizations and may be most helpful to practitioners who directly participate in creating written service plans.  This session will benefit individual practitioners, trainers, and supervisors as they apply PCRP to the process of creating a plan document, rather than prepare them for full organizational implementation.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completing this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the distinct core functions of goals and objectives in PCRP.
  • Identify at least one new strategy for working with people in recovery to develop meaningful goals and objectives.
  • Name at least 2 common mistakes related to the development and documentation of goals and objectives in PCRP.
