CPS Certification (Dallas)

Via Hope provides an interactive training to help people learn and practice the skills necessary to offer peer support to people receiving mental health services. Our forty-three hour certification training has 20 different modules that include the core values of Certified Peer Specialists, how to use recovery stories to support other people, and peer support group facilitation. The training is provided by experienced internal staff and part-time trainers, all of whom are current Certified Peer Specialists.
Via Hope operates the only statewide training and certification program for peer specialists that is recognized by the Health and Human Services Commission.
