Via Hope Registration Fees Announcement – December 4, 2012

Beginning January 1, 2013, Via Hope will charge a small application fee and a nominal registration fee for our workforce development training, which includes any training related to our Certified Peer Specialist and Certified Family Partner Programs.

Since the first CPS training in March 2010, all of our training has been at no cost to the individuals attending. However, the expectation from DSHS and the Hogg Foundation, our two funding sources, has always been that Via Hope would eventually generate revenue from registration fees to offset a portion of the cost of training. Grant funding will continue to support the majority of the training cost. The registration fees will cover approximately one quarter of the total cost. Starting in January, each application will include the registration fee for that particular training and instructions for submitting payment. Refer to the full policy memo on our website for more information.
