The Curriculum Manager will co-lead the Curriculum and Training Team and must bring demonstrable experience in curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation. We are looking for a candidate who can contribute immediately to updating and refining our certification and training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of past curriculum development work and be ready to showcase examples of their contributions. This role requires strategic thinking, educational expertise, and a commitment to fostering resilience and recovery in behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development:
o Design and oversee innovative curriculum frameworks for certification and endorsement programs.
o Update and refine existing curricula to align with organizational objectives and industry standards.
o Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement in training content. - Collaboration and Partnership Building:
o Work with external partners, including academic institutions and organizations, to develop and enhance curricula.
o Facilitate partnerships that strengthen the alignment between curricula and behavioral health best practices.
o Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate diverse perspectives into curriculum design and implementation. - Quality Assurance:
o Monitor curriculum effectiveness through feedback, evaluation metrics, and stakeholder input.
o Ensure all training materials are current, accurate, and accessible to diverse audiences. - Research and Innovation:
o Stay informed on emerging trends in educational design and recovery-oriented behavioral health practices.
o Incorporate technology and e-learning tools to enhance curriculum delivery. - Communication and Reporting:
o Prepare regular reports on curriculum development progress and outcomes.
o Present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Behavioral Health, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in curriculum design.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in digital learning platforms and instructional design tools.
- Preferred:
- Experience in recovery-oriented behavioral health education.
- Knowledge of public behavioral health systems in Texas.
- Familiarity with online learning systems and e-learning course development.
Working Conditions
- Virtual office environment with occasional in-person meetings and training.
- Some overnight travel and extended work hours may be required.
