1. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or

2. One year full-time, wage-earning advocacy, mentoring, education,
counseling, or case management experience.

3. Volunteer service exprience in a criminal justice setting

4. Current valid certification issued and recognized by the Texas
Certification Board (TCB) as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS),
Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS), Internationally Certified Peer
Recovery (ICPR), Re-Entry Peer Specialist (JI-RPS), Mental Health
Peer Specialist (MHPS), or Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS).

Must maintain valid certification for continued employment in position.

**The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will
be $2,561.08.**

The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally
applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the
summary of experience to determine if minimum qualifications are met.
