How can I remain inspired to focus on my health needs during times of stress?

Hello Everyone!

This is Lauren Cohen, youth coordinator at Via Hope. Normally, I write about youth related topics, or I present youth resources, something youth related. Today, I am taking a departure from that. I have been thinking a lot about inspiration and health lately. For example, how will I remain focused on my health during times of stress? When I feel overwhelmed, it is easy for me to ignore my health needs. I know that I must work out in some way, like dancing, walking, or going to the gym, at least twice per week in order to feel focused and calm. Even though I know this, I can still ignore my health needs, because I feel too busy or too drained.
 

So how am I going to remain inspired and dedicated during those stressful times? I am going to look at this article originally seen on the Huffington Post, which features seven senior citizens who are breaking records and busting through stereotypes. Maybe if I start focusing on my physical health now, I can reach the heights that these inspiring seniors have when I am older!
